This series considers the body as a chimera, part this, part that. Neither fully an object nor entirely a subject. It examines bodily constraint as both surrender and agency, evoking a paradox of chosen helplessness.

The work reflects on self-objectification, not as imposed by an external gaze, but as a personal, deliberate act. As in much of her practice, fragility and resilience coexist in tension, between object and subject, control and vulnerability, making the body a site of both estrangement and emotional resonance.

The body becomes a chimera, neither fully an object nor entirely a subject.
