Para La Cultura y Fútbol

Para La Cultura y Fútbol (For the Culture and Football) explores identity as something lived, fluid, and continually evolving. Through collaboration, colour, and personal expression, New York–based photographer Ivana Cajina creates powerful images that celebrate community, individuality, and cultural heritage, honouring the beauty of identity in motion through shared experience and self-expression.

At the heart of this project was a desire to hold more than one truth at once. To explore identity not as something fixed, but as something lived. Something carried through movement and personal expression. Work that looks at the ways culture and individuality can exist in the same frame. The goal was to create images that felt powerful, images that speak to community, and self-expression.

This project also became an exercise in collaboration. So much of what we make becomes deeper when it is held by other people too. When there is trust and care. An environment where everyone brings their own perspective and helps widen the story.

This work is about honouring the beauty of identity in motion.
