Low and High

With a sharp eye for atmosphere and emotion, photographer Burak Yasar turns his lens toward the hidden world of nightlife. His work captures not only the surface energy of music and movement, but also the fleeting, vulnerable moments that emerge in the shadows.

This project, a three-year reflection of nightlife, seeks out the emotions hidden in darkness. Each frame, captured with the unique confidence of the night, witnesses not only the rhythm of music but also the most genuine moments of the human soul. Amid flashes, bewildered glances reveal stories hidden behind shadows and light. This series tells the tale of characters who find and lose themselves within the night.

“The night becomes a stage where characters find, and lose, themselves.”
