What’s good

As the restrictions on hugging / physical contact have been lifted, London based photographer Sebastian Barros collaborated with UK charity Football Beyond Borders to create a series of portraits showing the joy and authentic moments of human connection with friends.

Sebastian Barros: “As the kids were going back to school I wanted to create a photo series based around that feeling/moment of reconnecting with friends after spending months apart.

Over the past 6 weeks I visited a number of Football Beyond Borders programs in London to photograph them. I wanted to capture those playful authentic moments of friends coming together for the first time in months.”

About FBB (Football Beyond Borders)

FBB are an education and social inclusion charity using the power of football to change the lives of young people.

FBB supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged at school, in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. We do this by providing long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.
