Expect everything and nothing.

What parts of your own personality does Dahc Dermur VIII come from?
And when did the name come to life?


All parts // the name came to life 10 years ago upon moving to London.

Dahc=Chad
Dermur=Murder
8=Infinity

Do you consider what you do and what you wear to be a form of drag?

We all do drag.

What is going on with nightlife at the moment – can it be saved?

Nightlife for me is an emotion and state of being. Space is temporary, spirit and community unshakable.

What elevates you and what brings you down?

The thirst for life, love, kindness, music, creativity and community // lack of oxygen and misperceptions.

You are an icon, especially in the underground queer community. How do you feel your presence is perceived in other club scenes?

Our presence should be consistent and transcendent.
