For his project ’40 Music Venues’, photographer Alex Amorós photographed music venues across London to highlight the impact the pandemic had not only on the venues but also on the whole entertainment industry.

“ ’40 Music Venues’ is a photo project carried out during lockdown 2.0, I decided to begin a passion project to depict the regulatory impact on 40 live music venues across London.”

“I have considered it important to promote the precarious situation in which many industries find themselves. The music industry itself not only employs a huge amount of people but is the heart and soul of London; giving joy to many and bringing people together.”

This project will support the Save our Venues campaign. In the following weeks, Alex will release a photo book and an exhibition. You can pre-order the book already here
